Inspector Pratap Tungare & Advocate Potbhare have personalities oppositve to each other. Whenever Inspector Tungare catches criminals advocate Potbhare proves them innocent for a huge fee and sets them free. Things became serious when a murder happended on an Amavasya night, without any evidence or proof. The murderer strikes again next year, Amavasya night. As before there was no proff left back. The motive behind these murders were unknown.

Inspector Mahesh from crime branch was appointed for this case. It was the third year on Amavasya night when the murderer struck back. This time the victim was a businessman Mr. Alakbar. Mr Bapu Saheb, the victims brother announced a prize fo Rs. 2.00 lacs to the person who gives any information about murderer.

Laxmikant Lokhande along with his friend Ranga collected false information and approached Bapu Saheb for the prize money. Pratap Tungare puts Laxmikant behind bars for building false evidences & proofs. Laxmikat with the help of ins. Mahesh escapes from the prison and in return assists him in successfully catching the murderer.
