Set against the backdrop of the magnificent Himalayas, this love story is about Abhijeet (Amitabh Bachchan) and Rajni (Rakhee), a blind girl. Kaliram (Amjad Khan) is a vicious criminal who attempts to molest Rajni. Abhijeet saves her and has Kaliram arrested. Rajni and Abhijeet get married. Life is pure bliss for a few years until one night when Abhijeet returns home to discover Rajni has been attacked... Abhijeet becomes obsessed with the search to find the attacker and swears vengeance.
