Dulhe Raja is the story of Raja(Govinda) who owns a small street-side restaurant across the street from a five-star hotel.

The new owner of the hotel, Seth Singhani (Kader Khan) wants Raja to close the small restaurant that competes with his hotel. Seth Singhani tries everything in his power from buyout offers to using force to eliminate Raja, but fails miserably. Things get complicated when Raja meets Kiran(Raveena Tandon), Seth Singhani's daughter, and they fall in love. Not realizing this, Raja goes to her house to meet her parents.
