"Ek Aur Ek Gyarah" is an action comedy of two notorious, small-town street thugs, Tara (Sanjay Dutt) and Sitara (Govinda). They take life as it comes, always upto some prank or the other. During a police chase, they happen to shoot one of the biggest criminals of the nation, Cobra (Ashish Vidhyarthi) in order to escape. Tara and Sitara manage to escape but Cobra gets arrested and vows to avenge these two conmen. Tara and Sitara who are now on the run have the police as well as Cobra after their lives ...They finally decide that the only way out is to cross the Nepal border and live peacefully forever.

Cobra's brother Panther (Gulshan Grover) who was arrested by Major Ram Singh (Jackie Shroff) has the code to a "Nation Destroying!!" gun stolen by them and Cobra has to get him out. Tara and Sitara also feel that Ram Singh is the only person who can help them cross the border. They give a sob story to Ramsingh's family and find their way into his house and in turn into the hearts of his family. They fall in love with Ram Singh's daughter (Amrita Arora) and her friend( Nandini Singh).

When Cobra gets to know about Tara and Sitara's whereabouts , he plans to use them to get his brother out. He kidnaps their mother, reaches Ram Singh's house under the guise of a relative. And blackmails Tara and Sitara into getting Panther out.

How these two small criminals are now involved in a catch-22 situation that could escalate into world terrorism brings loads of the most thrilling moments and hilarious situations in their life where they have no go but to fight it out as soldiers.

Do they manage to save their mother? Do they lose the beautiful damsels on revealing their identities? Do they cheat on RamSingh and his family and break their trust? Or do they support Ramsingh to save the nation from the attacks of dangerous criminals Cobra and Panther?...
