Raja (Naseeruddin Shah) dreams of helping his fellow tenement-dwellers to have a better life. He also fantasizes about playing alongside India's ace cricketer Sunil Gavaskar some day. Destiny pitches a googly, when Raja's estranged grandfather dies, leaving him an immense fortune. The catch here is that the old man was an eccentric character, who�s left a will that specifies that the inheritor has to spend thirty crore rupees in thirty days, otherwise forfeit the whole legacy! Thus begins a crazy ride through extravagance, but Raja finds that it's not so easy to spend the money, it simply keeps coming back to him!
