Synopsis

"SIR" is the story of a college professor (Naseeruddin Shah) whose happy family life is destroyed when his son is shot during a rival gang shootout. This tragic incident gives him the strength to practice what he teaches to his students; to stand injustice and help the weak. Sir is pulled into bringing peace between two crime lords when one of his students Pooja (Pooja Bhatt), daughter of the mob boss becomes the prime target.
Is "Sir" able to stop the mindless violence? Are the crime lords using Sir as a front and waiting to strike when they get the chance? Is "Sir" able to teach them the lesson of love and give up the life of crime?
