Synopsis
Mohan is a Project Manager for GPM in NASA. He has everything except what he can call a family. Only person left in his family is his nanny Kaveri Amma, who is in India. Mohan decides to go back to India and bring her with him back to USA and take care of her.
So begins his Journey. When he finds Kaver Amma he realises that she is looking after Gita and her younger brother and it's Kaveri Amma's responsibility to get them settle. Mohan wants Kaveri Amma come with him, so he starts helping her to finish all works and helping her to settle Gita.
During this time, Mohan meets different people of village, and also falls in love with Gita. Mohan see the condition of villagers who still haven't seen the modern day. Mohan wants to help them, but he wants to go back to USA too.
Mohan befriends the local postmaster Nivaran, stuck to his old-fashioned ways, and the village children, whose future is inextricably linked with that of the country. Soon, Mohan finally realizes that it is his scientific temperament as well as his understanding of societal complexities that can drive the villagers to participate in a movement to better their lives.
